[4-2-3-1]: Saliba and Gabriel returned, Odegaard and Saka benched, Eze and Gyokeres start from their favourite position- Arsenal predicted lineups vs Club Brugge as Mikel Arteta confirms many changes ahead of the clash

Arsenal are preparing for their next game against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners come off a 2-1 loss against Aston Villa, which has allowed Manchester City to close the gap at the top of the Premier League table to just two points. However, they need to quickly turn their attention away from the defeat.

Arsenal make the trip to Belgium to play against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday night, meaning Mikel Arteta can take his mind off the Premier League until the weekend when they play against a struggling Wolves side.

Calafiori plays despite suspension

GK – David Raya – Arteta could opt to rest Raya in favour of Kepa Arizzabalaga, but he will likely stick with the first choice Spaniard.

LB – Riccardo Calafiori – Calafiori picked up a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card against Villa, but it doesn’t apply to the Champions League.

CB – William Saliba – Saliba returns after recovering from the knock that he picked up two weeks ago, forcing him to miss the game at the weekend.

CB – Piero Hincapie – With Gabriel and Mosquera injured at the moment, Hincapie would expect to start on Wednesday night.

RB – Jurrien Timber – Timber replaces Ben White, who played at right-back against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Rice rested in favour of Merino

CDM – Martin Zubimendi – Zubimendi or Rice could be rested on Wednesday night, but we have Arteta keeping the Spaniard in the side.

CM – Mikel Merino – Merino played up front against Villa, he drops back into midfield to give Declan Rice a rest.

CM – Martin Odegaard – Odegaard was one of Arsenal’s best players over the weekend, so keeps his place in midfield.

Gyokeres up front for Arsenal again

LW – Gabriel Martinelli – Martinelli replaces Trossard, who is currently being assessed with a groin injury.

RW – Noni Madueke – Arteta opts to rest Bukayo Saka in favour of the former Chelsea winger on Wednesday.

ST – Viktor Gyokeres – Gyokeres was benched in favour of Mikel Merino on Saturday, we think Arteta brings the Swedish striker in this week.
