Arsenal spent big this summer, but in order to add more players in the January transfer window, they may need to sell a couple of names to earn more transfer funds.
Arteta managed to address several positions during the window, signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, and Noni Madueke from Chelsea to name a few, but come the January window, the Gunners may want more.
We have already seen injuries to the likes of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Kai Havertz, so if Arsenal want the best chance to win the league title, they might want to bolster their squad even more in January.

1. Jakub Kiwior
Polish international Kiwior has been playing a depth role behind the likes of Gabriel and William Saliba for the past two seasons, and was time for him to move on.
Kiwior signed on a loan deal for Portuguese side Porto, but the Gunners could try and get Porto to buy him permanently in January in order to make more revenue.
He’s not of use to the Gunners any more, as he made just 15 Premier League appearances last season, most of which came whilst Gabriel was out injured. Furthermore, Arsenal signed Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia and Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen, so Kiwior’s role will be non-existent when he comes back from Porto.
2. Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal signed Viktor Gyokeres in the summer, so their number nine issues are over, and Jesus seemingly is a long way from re-igniting a role in Arteta’s side.
The Brazilian suffered a severe ACL issue in January, which could keep him out of action until the end of 2025. With that in mind, the Gunners may decide to cash in on him in January before his value drops even further.
Jesus’ current market value stands at £32m, a lot less than the £45m that Arsenal paid for him back in 2022. Reports have said that the Gunners are willing to sell the 28-year-old.
3. Ben White
The future of White is also uncertain, as the Arsenal defender didn’t see much game time last year, both due to injury problems and competition for places.
If he is unhappy about his current game time, then he could ask to move away to a fellow Premier League side rather than sit on Arteta’s bench.
Jurrien Timber has carved out a role for himself at right-back, and seeing as the Gunners have a lot of centre-back options, White will struggle to get into the team that way too. He would be a valuable sale, and less of a likely one, but even so, it could generate some serious revenue.
