“I’m interested in joining Arsenal but only if thar guy leaves, I can’t play with him”: Arsenal top transfer target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has named ONE Arsenal’s player he doesn’t wants to play with and revealed his reasons

Posted on April 3, 2026 by admin

As the 2025–26 Premier League season nears its conclusion, Arsenal are widely expected to embark on a significant summer overhaul, particularly in attacking areas.

Recent reports from reputable outlets have linked them with a blockbuster move for PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a player regarded as one of the most exciting offensive talents in European football.

At the same time, the north London club are reportedly prepared to sell some of their forwards — including Gabriel Martinelli — to fund transfers and balance the squad.

This combination of incoming targets and possible departures is what’s feeding speculation about how a signing like Kvaratskhelia might impact the futures of current Arsenal attackers.

Who Is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a Georgian international widely regarded as one of the most technically gifted wingers in world football. After rising to global prominence with Napoli, he moved to Paris Saint‑Germain in January 2025 for a significant transfer fee and quickly became a key contributor to their attacking play.

Known for his dribbling, creativity, and ability to unlock defences, Kvaratskhelia has been consistently linked with top European clubs, especially in the wake of his performances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Arsenal are among the clubs said to have explored an approach for him — though, crucially, PSG are not actively looking to sell him at this stage.

Arsenal’s Interest in Kvaratskhelia

Multiple transfer outlets report that Arsenal have explored the idea of a major summer deal to bring Kvaratskhelia to the Emirates. While this is still speculative, some sources have described the Georgian as someone whose creative instincts would offer a significant boost to Arsenal’s attack — particularly on the left wing.

However, PSG’s stance has reportedly been firm: they have no intention of selling their star winger this summer, and any deal would likely require a huge offer.

Martinelli’s Position and the Exit Talk

Parallel to the Kvaratskhelia chatter, there’s growing talk that Arsenal are open to selling some attack assets in the summer to finance new signings. One outlet reported that Gabriel Martinelli — a long‑serving and influential figure at Arsenal — could be among the players permitted to leave for the right price.

The same report suggested a fee of around £50 million could be enough to secure his exit, with clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund among those linked with interest. Another recent article noted that Paris Saint‑Germain have even made contact about Martinelli, as PSG look to reinforce their options — ironically linking Martinelli’s potential departure with discussions around their own squad.

This has fuelled speculation that an incoming signing — especially a high‑profile winger — might only be possible if Arsenal trim their existing attacking ranks.

Arsenal are exploring or monitoring a potential move for Kvaratskhelia.

PSG are not currently interested in selling him lightly.

Arsenal are considering selling attacking players, including Martinelli, to fund summer deals.

Team Dynamics and Tactical Fit

Part of why this narrative has taken shape among fans is due to tactical overlaps. Both Kvaratskhelia and Martinelli are left‑wingers by trade, and if Arsenal were to bring in a world‑class wide attacker, it would naturally raise questions about who starts and who might be surplus to requirements.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has shown a willingness to refresh his squad and adapt systems, which could include rebalancing attacking roles. But whether that equates to a direct swap of players is not established fact — more speculation.
