Saka gets 7.5, Trossard with 7 | Player Ratings as Arsenal’s resilient performance in intense match against Bayern Munich ‎

In an attempt to win the UEFA Champions League at home, Arsenal hosted Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight. When Bukayo Saka reached the back of the net in the 12th minute, the Gunners took an early lead in the match. Six minutes later, though, Serge Gnabry gave the visitors an equalizer, and in the 32nd minute, Harry Kane gave Bayern Munich a 2-1 lead from the penalty spot. The score at the half was 2-1 against Mikel Arteta’s team.

In the 76th minute, Leandro Trossard pulled one back for the Gunners, and Arsenal emerged victorious from their hard-fought 2-2 home tie against the opposition.

 

David Raya, GK: 6/10

 

Raya won’t be happy about giving up twice in the first half even if he didn’t have to make any saves during the match.

Ben White, RB: 6/10

 

He had a couple strong moments in the opposition’s half, and his efforts were rewarded with an assist.

 

Billy Saliba, CB: 6/10

 

Saliba was a terrific presence on the ball and once again earned the ball back. But he was unable to maintain stability at the back.

 

CB: Gabriel – 6/10

 

The talented Brazilian was accurate with his passes but far from impressive when defending inside his own half.

 

LB: Jakub Kiwior – 6/10

 

He had a difficult time making an impression in the first half and was changed at halftime.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 7/10

 

When he could, Odegaard returned to defend, setting up a few good opportunities for those in his vicinity in the opposition’s half.

 

CM: Jorginho – 6.5/10

 

He did a decent job of stabilizing the middle, but he found it difficult to impact the game in the last third.

 

Declan Rice, CM: 7/10

 

The England international makes two strong runs from midfield with the ball.

Martinelli had a couple good situations on the left side, but he was unable to score this evening.
