BREAKING NEWS: The supercomputer who has been predicting the accurate Premier League title winners since 2002 has predicted how many trophies Arsenal will win this season

Posted on February 24, 2026 by admin

Arsenal have strengthened their grip on a potential first Premier League title since 2004 after beating Tottenham on Sunday.

The Gunners faced serious questions last week after losing a two-goal lead to draw away at bottom-club Wolves.

And after dropping points to Brentford in the week before, Man City had closed the gap to just two points when they beat Newcastle United on Saturday.

Faced up against a fired-up Tottenham side led by new interim manager Igor Tudor, many predicted problems for Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze handed the Gunners a 4-1 win, and restored their five-point advantage.

Supercomputer updates Premier League title prediction

It has been a difficult couple of weeks for Arsenal, but Sunday’s victory felt as if it answered several questions.

Gyokeres starred and proved his ability to make a difference for the Gunners, and the same can be said of Eze.

Unforced errors cost Mikel Arteta’s side at Molineux, and Declan Rice’s mistake leading to Randal Kolo Muani’s goal proved that those have not yet gone away.

But the response was very different. Arsenal did not lose their heads in an intense environment and took their lead back swiftly.

Tough games are coming up for the Gunners, and they will be tested further, but Sunday’s win felt big.

Man City remain on their tails, however, and are undoubtedly the Premier League‘s form side, with five consecutive wins across all competitions.

Opta’s supercomputer has kept its backing with Arsenal, however, and has boosted their chances of winning the Premier League title to 82.84 per cent.

Man City’s chances have fallen to 16.36 per cent, but they will not be dissuaded.

How does the run-in look for both teams?
Difficult games remain for both teams, but Arsenal may favour their run-in, which largely takes place at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners will play Chelsea at home this week, and must travel to Brighton, Man City, West Ham and Crystal Palace before the season is over.

The Citizens, on the other hand, must still travel to Leeds United, West Ham, Chelsea, Burnley, Everton and Bournemouth.

Arsenal and Aston Villa make up their most difficult games remaining at the Etihad Stadium.

Form will be everything, and each and every game will be crucial. The Premier League title remains well up for grabs.
