BREAKING NEWS: The supercomputer who has been correctly predicted Manchester United’s last five match has now predicted the remaining fixtures results

Posted on February 28, 2026 by admin

The final Premier League standings have been forecast following the most recent round of matches – and it’s promising news for Manchester United.

The Reds are battling for a spot in the Champions League, which requires a top-four finish to ensure participation in next season’s tournament.

Fifth place could potentially secure a Champions League berth due to England’s impressive UEFA coefficient, although that is not yet confirmed at this point in the season.

United climbed back to fourth in the Premier League table courtesy of their 1-0 victory over Everton on Monday Night Football, while Chelsea trail by three points in fifth.

Despite their win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Liverpool remain in sixth position. Now, a new prediction has surfaced regarding the final league standings.

Opta have analysed the data and predicted the teams that will secure a top-four finish., reports the Mirror.

Arsenal are tipped to clinch the title with 82 (81.72) points, while Manchester City are predicted to finish second with 76 (75.86) points. The Gunners have been given a 100 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League, while City are almost certain to secure a spot in the competition with a 99.55 per cent probability.

Aston Villa are tipped to secure third place with 70 (69.56) points, while Liverpool are backed to round off the top four with 65 (64.57) points. United trail just behind Liverpool in the projected table with 64 (64.34) points, placing them fifth in the final standings.

As of late February 2026, supercomputer simulations for the 2025-26 Premier League season generally predict a 3rd place finish for Manchester United. While some simulations suggest a potential 5th-place finish, most projections, including those from Sky Sports and Opta, indicate they will narrowly miss out on the top four.
Key 2025-26 Season Predictions (As of Feb 2026):
  • Final Position: Predicted 3rd, with some scenarios placing them 5th or 6th, fighting for a Champions League spot.
  • Points: Projected to finish around 62-64 points.
  • Champions League Qualification: A 5th-place finish may still be enough for UCL qualification, but their probability of a top-four finish has been calculated at around 44%.
  • Performance Metrics: The simulations suggest United’s performance is behind top contenders like Arsenal and Manchester City, who are forecasted to finish in the top two.
