Marcus Rashford has reportedly admitted that he is unhappy with the level of criticism he has received from Manchester United supporters, as pressure continues to surround the forward following another difficult performance.
Rashford has once again found himself at the centre of attention after Manchester United’s latest Premier League fixture, with sections of the fanbase questioning his performance, consistency and overall contribution to the team. The criticism has intensified during a difficult start to the campaign, with United struggling to produce the results expected of them.
The latest frustration came after Manchester United’s 1–1 draw against Fulham, a match in which Rashford started on the left side but struggled to make the decisive impact supporters were hoping for. United eventually rescued a point through Matheus Cunha’s late deflected effort after Lisandro Martinez’s own goal had put Fulham ahead.
For Rashford, however, the attention has once again been focused heavily on his individual performance.
The England international has reportedly been left frustrated by the criticism coming from sections of the Manchester United fanbase. Rashford is one of those players because of his profile.
The expectations surrounding him are enormous.
