SAKA UNDER FIRE AFTER ARSENAL’S 3-0 DEFEAT — DID THE STAR FORWARD LET HIS TEAMMATES DOWN?
Bukayo Saka has become one of the biggest talking points following Arsenal’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

When Brighton scored, Arsenal needed a reaction.
When Brighton scored again, Arsenal needed leadership.
When the third goal arrived, the match was effectively beyond Arsenal.
That is why the defeat has created such a huge debate among supporters.
Should Saka have done more?
Should Arteta have changed the team earlier?
Should Arsenal’s midfield have handled Brighton’s pressing better?
Should the defenders have closed down the Brighton attackers more quickly?
Or was this simply a collective failure from the entire Arsenal team?
Those are the questions supporters will continue debating during the international break.
As for the claim that Saka blamed his teammates after the defeat, there is currently no reliable evidence I could verify showing that he publicly made such an accusation. Arsenal fans should therefore be careful with social-media posts presenting that claim as a confirmed quote.

The good news for Arsenal is that one defeat does not erase everything the team achieved before it.
