Arsenal Scouting £26m Midfielder Gjivai Zechiel Ahead of January
Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on Feyenoord midfielder Gjivai Zechiel as Mikel Arteta’s side assess possible midfield options ahead of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old Dutch midfielder has reportedly made an impressive start to the 2026/27 season, registering five goals and four assists in seven Eredivisie appearances, according to reports.
His energy, mobility and ability to progress the ball have reportedly attracted attention from Arsenal and Chelsea.
A valuation of around €30 million (£26m) has been reported for Zechiel, although there is currently no indication that Arsenal have made an official bid or reached an agreement with Feyenoord.
The report therefore remains a transfer rumour, rather than a confirmed Arsenal deal.
Zechiel has previously spent loan spells with Sparta Rotterdam and Utrecht before establishing himself at Feyenoord. Arsenal’s reported interest could become one to watch as the January window approaches.
