BREAKING: Leandro Trossard confirmed he has agreed to Arsenal….see more

Posted on October 25, 2026 by admin

Leandro Trossard has reportedly opened the door to a possible return to Arsenal, with the Belgian forward making it clear that he would be willing to listen if the Gunners contacted him about coming back to the Emirates Stadium.

The former Arsenal attacker remains a familiar name among supporters, and the possibility of seeing him wear the famous red and white shirt again would undoubtedly attract attention from fans who remember his important contributions during his time in north London.

Trossard enjoyed a memorable spell at Arsenal after joining from Brighton in January 2023. During his time with the Gunners, he became known for his technical ability, intelligent movement, composure in front of goal and capacity to make an impact in important matches. Although he was not always guaranteed a starting position, he frequently demonstrated that he could change the course of a game when his team needed inspiration.

His reported willingness to consider a return would raise questions about whether Arsenal might benefit from bringing back a player who already understands the club’s expectations, playing philosophy and demanding environment. With Arsenal continuing to pursue success at the highest level, experience and attacking versatility could become important considerations when evaluating potential additions to the squad.

Trossard’s time at Arsenal was marked by several memorable performances. He regularly offered Mikel Arteta different options in the attacking department, operating on the left wing, playing through the middle and occasionally taking up other attacking positions depending on the team’s requirements. His ability to find space between defenders and make decisive contributions in the final third made him a valuable option during his time at the club.

The Belgian also demonstrated that he did not necessarily need to play an entire match to make a difference. On several occasions, his introduction from the bench gave Arsenal additional energy, creativity and composure in the attacking areas. That quality helped him establish a reputation as a dependable squad member who could deliver when opportunities arrived.

For Arsenal supporters, the possibility of a reunion would naturally bring back memories of the moments when Trossard helped the team through difficult matches. His calm finishing, close control and understanding of attacking spaces made him a useful weapon in Arteta’s system, particularly when opponents defended deep and attempted to deny Arsenal room to operate.

A return, however, would depend on several factors. Arsenal would need to consider their current attacking options, the player’s situation at Besiktas, the financial implications of a potential transfer and whether Arteta believed the Belgian could contribute meaningfully to the team’s plans. Trossard would also need to consider the role available to him and whether returning to the Premier League would represent the right decision for his career.

Nevertheless, the idea of Trossard returning to the Emirates would be an intriguing one. His familiarity with Arsenal could make the transition easier than it would be for a completely new signing, while his experience of competing for major honours could offer valuable depth to an ambitious squad.

The Belgian’s reported openness to answering Arsenal’s call would also send a message about the relationship he built with the club during his previous spell. Players often develop strong connections with supporters, teammates and coaching staff, and leaving a club does not necessarily mean that those connections disappear.

Arsenal’s attacking department has continued to evolve, with competition for places remaining intense. Arteta needs players who can provide quality, tactical discipline and reliable performances across a long campaign. If the opportunity to bring Trossard back ever became realistic, the manager would have to decide whether his experience and versatility could complement the players already available.

For Trossard, a possible return would represent an opportunity to revisit a chapter of his career in which he enjoyed considerable success. He already knows the pressure associated with playing for Arsenal, where expectations are high and supporters demand consistent performances. That familiarity could be an advantage if both parties believed that another spell together would make sense.

However, supporters should distinguish between a willingness to consider a return and an actual transfer agreement. There is currently no verified confirmation that Arsenal have contacted Trossard about rejoining the club or that negotiations over a reunion are underway. His reported position should therefore be treated as a transfer storyline rather than confirmation that a move is imminent.

For now, the possibility remains an interesting talking point for Arsenal fans. Trossard has already demonstrated his qualities in an Arsenal shirt, and the thought of seeing him return would inevitably divide opinion between those who would welcome his experience and those who believe the club should continue investing in younger attacking options.

One thing is certain: Trossard’s previous contribution to Arsenal means that his name will continue to attract attention whenever discussions about the club’s attacking options arise. If the Gunners ever decide that bringing him back would benefit their ambitions, the question would be whether the club and the player could agree on a deal that works for everyone.

Until then, Arsenal supporters will have to wait for concrete developments rather than assume that a reunion is on the cards. The possibility of Trossard answering Arsenal’s call makes for an intriguing story, but any return would ultimately depend on the club’s plans, the player’s circumstances and whether both sides believe that another chapter together is the right move.
